Review: Buster's Bistro Belgian pub / restaurant

(also posted on Yelp)

My family and I went here for a weekend lunch. The best chicken curry and chips (fries) I've had in twenty years, and a serious contender for the best I've ever had. Simply sublime. Alongside that, their selection of drinks is outstanding with lots of tasty European ciders 'n things, their "plain" food advertised as "children's food" like cheeseburgers and chicken tenders were really good, and their shawarma was also delicious. It has jumped to the top of our favorite places in the Sanford / Lake Mary area to go for a sit down meal.

Three positive things, day sixty one (catching up)

(posting a day late)

After the busy Saturday we had a quieter Sunday.

The first positive thing was having a cup of Starbucks for the first time in... ages. And it was their Pumpkin Spice Latte. And it was definitely better than previous years - not as sickeningly sweet, so thanks for the improvement, Starbucks.

Three positive things, day twenty two

Today was a relatively average Wednesday.

The first positive thing was someone I work with on that project I mentioned yesterday sending me a surprise gift as a thank you for yesterday's late night efforts. There was a bit more tidying and optimizing to do this morning, but it appears to have worked well for an important demo they were doing today. Thanks Jason!

Three positive things, day eight

Three quick things tonight.

First off - yes, kittens. Today we left the basement door open, instead of keeping it closed. Our upstairs cat, Bolt, appreciated this as it meant he could go have some food or use the litter whenever he wanted, instead of waiting for us to open the door to the stairs. The two kittens explored a little bit, but were a little apprehensive of the huge open space so still stayed up stairs, where they spent almost the entire day bouncing around, jumping onto counters, and climbing the curtains. Because kittens.
